Get into stock trading

Virtual Stock Trading App 2.0 is a freemium finance app for stock investment. Since this app is a simulator, it helps Indian users learn the ropes of trading without running the risk of losing money.

By analyzing the in-app market data and trying out different strategies, you’ll become more confident of your trading prowess, which will then allow you to take more calculated risks in real-life trading. Even experienced traders can use the app to further hone their skills. Right now, Virtual Stock Trading App 2.0 is still in its beta phase.

Enjoy risk-free trading

At its core, Virtual Stock Trading App 2.0 is a digital training ground for beginners. Tapping the Learn button in Profile will redirect you to the website Zerodha Varsity, which contains an introductory guide to stock markets. You don’t have to top up real-life currency here, though, since the app already provides you with funds—which serve as your digital play money—in your wallet

If you tap + Add Funds, you can set your preferred amount so long as it’s not less than the used margin. The app also features stocks from various institutions, such as Jio Financial Services, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Vodafone, Zomato, and many more—all of which you can add or remove from your watchlist. You can buy and sell stocks, too, though be sure to watch out for the price trend.

In this app, free users are entitled to only a few perks, such as real-time data and charts. Trading is limited, as well. However, Pro users get to enjoy all the benefits granted to non-paying individuals on top of unlimited trading, a dedicated backup function, reports, and many more. On some devices, though, this app crashes frequently. Users can also get stuck on the loading screen when starting the program.

A simulator for traders of all skill levels

Virtual Stock Trading App 2.0 is a stock trading simulator for beginners and experienced traders alike. Here, you can buy and sell stocks risk-free, so you can further hone your trading and decision-making skills. However—since it’s a freemium app—Pro users have more access to features than free users. As for technical issues, do expect the app to freeze on the loading screen upon launching.
